Picturehouse Culture Shock pays tribute to the late Miloš Forman (1932-2018) with a special presentation of his historic One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest on Monday 21 May.
Not many directors can boast two Best Picture triumphs at the Oscars™ but Miloš Forman was so much more than the films he directed. As a result of his personal experiences, he injected his films with enormous tolerance, respect for humanity and a sympathetic eye for the underdog. So what better way to celebrate Forman’s life than a chance to see the one film that best encapsulates his character and filmmaking – One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest – back on the big screen.
