Located in the heart of Piccadilly in London’s West End, Picturehouse Central is an ideal venue for a wide range of events – from conferences, presentations, private screenings, Q&As and talks to intimate parties and private meetings.
Picturehouse Central is situated in the heart of London’s West End, a stone’s throw away from Leicester Square. The entrance is located on the corner of Great Windmill Street and Shaftesbury Avenue at the centre of London’s famous theatre district.
Please note we advise conferences and presentations in screens 1, 2, 4 and 7. All our screens are state-of-the-art with some of the comfiest seats in the business.

We also have several reception spaces available for hire, and can provide all catering in house. For drinks receptions we can provide house wine, beers and spirits on a consumption basis to be invoiced the day after the event. All other premium options must be pre-ordered and paid for.
First Floor Bar & Restaurant
Capacity: 320 standing maximum.
Members’ Bar and Roof Terrace
You can hire the entire Members’ Bar (includes mezzanine floor and roof terrace exclusively).
Capacity: 280 guests standing.
Includes shared access to the roof terrace.
Capacity: 120 standing maximum.
Snug & Bridge Area
Capacity: 75 standing maximum.
Situated on the top floor.
Capacity: 65 standing maximum.
AV and Tech
Picturehouse Central offers hand held microphones in screen 1, 2 and 4 which are included in the price and we have a non-adjustable conference setting for lighting. Screen 7 does not have/need a PA system due to its size.
Our projectors run from DCP format only for screenings and high-quality videos. If your event is a presentation, we can provide a HDMI feed for you to connect your laptop.
You are welcome to bring in additional equipment to be run by external production companies for all or part of your event, providing they have met with our technical team onsite at least 2 weeks prior to your event.
We are not able to offer parking but there are a number of NCP’s and other options nearby. For deliveries and use of our good lift, please speak to your Events contact for advice and further details.
All of our screens and reception areas are accessible with the exception of the stages. Each screen has a limited number of seats which can be removed to make space for wheelchair guests. Full accessibility information.
Wi-Fi / Internet Access
We work with a 3rd party who can provide exclusive wi-fi / ethernet for your event. We also have a basic free wi-fi service for simpler requirements.
