Smart Energy GB and Silver Screen

Silver Screen Joins The Campaign For A Smarter Britain

Picturehouse Silver Screen has teamed up with Smart Energy GB’s campaign for a smarter Britain, to show you how simple it is to take action for a smarter, greener Britain.

We’re pleased to introduce Smart Energy GB as our official partner for our Silver Screen club. Silver Screen is free to join for over 60s and gets you discounted tickets to daytime screenings, as well as free tea, coffee and biscuits.

Smart Energy GB want to tell you how the smart meter rollout can help create a cleaner, greener, smarter Britain. They’re here to straighten out some myths you may have heard about smart meters (yes you can switch suppliers with a smart meter!)  and show you just how easy it is to get one installed at no extra cost.

And while they’re at it, they’ll provide a bit of added entertainment at Silver Screen screenings and the chance to win cinema tickets. So next time you’re in for a Silver Screen screening, look out for an interactive quiz from Smart Energy GB before the film and make sure you take part by filling in a scratch card to be in with a chance of winning. Some of the Smart Energy GB team will be at certain cinemas, with green giveaways and to talk to you about the smart meter rollout.
